Partial birth abortion is a late-term abortion of a fetus that has already died, or is killed before being completely removed from the mother. I feel that partial birth abortion is wrong in every way. Whether the child is 1 week or 40 weeks, it shouldn’t matter. The fetus has a right to live. There are also types of partial birth abortions. Intact dilation and extraction, is a surgical procedure that removes an intact fetus from the uterus. Partial birth abortion should be illegal in all 50 states.

Federal Government Should Outlaw Late-Term Abortion In 2013, reporter Sarah Terzo from Live Action News in Virginia indicated that late-term abortion clinic shoots babies through the heart with poison in order to kill them. This example is a good reason to why the federal government should be outlawing late-term abortion. No matter what situation the mother and fetus are in, every fetus should have the right to live a meaningful life. However, the federal government should outlaw abortion after the first trimester because many of the practices are inhumane, all fetuses should have the right to live, and the ways abortion can cause risks for the women. Late-Term Abortion A Colorado woman accused of cutting open the belly of a pregnant woman, who was responding to a Craigslist ad, and removing the unborn child to show her family she was expecting a baby herself, is not being charged with murder. Under Colorado law, the perpetrator can only face such murder charges if the baby was alive outside the womb. Abortion opponents in Colorado have unsuccessfully pressed actions to pronounce a fetus as a human being, which would thus enable homicide charges to be filed for their bereavements. (Lacey-Bourdeaux) In simple terms, and granted current abortion laws, an abortion was performed outside of a clinic.…

In terms of life and death, the government has no say. Abortion is already a taxing ordeal on the mother and her family, and forcing them to choose the baby over the mother isn’t fair. A fetus isn’t sentient while it’s in the womb, and claiming otherwise shows a lack of understanding of how life works. Because of these reasons, the choice of a late term abortion is a decision that should be made by the mother, and her alone.…
