Abortion is Murder and This is Why

“Abort: One: To end a pregnancy early in order to prevent a baby from developing and

being born alive: to abort a child. Two: Cause to end fruitlessley or prematurely. Three:

Abandon or terminate” ( Student's Oxford Canadian Dictionary). Abortion is murder and should

be treated as such and be illegal and charged for just the same as any other murder. I will be

telling the facts to support why this is. Killing a person is murder, no matter how old that person

may be. The age that someone is at the time of their murder does not change the fact that it was

murder, neither does it in any way alter the definition of murder, which is, “One:To kill a human

So why would it not be murder if a mother decides

to kill her own son or daughter only six months before that? That's right, it is still murder. That

baby that is being aborted is alive and is in fact a human; he or she is being murdered with out

even getting a chance to see the light of day. At the very latest, a baby's heart starts beating 20

days after being concieved. An abortion can not even happen until 49 days at the very earliest

because the baby has to be developed enough to be able to function on it's own in the outside

world with only a little bit of help. The human fetus must be developed enough so it can be

murdered. By only eight weeks in the mother's womb, all major organs are functioning in a

baby. The brain is working and the nervous system is working which means that by this time,

babies can feel pain and respond to it. Babies will suck their thumbs, they are able to respond to

sound and there is evidence that babies have dreams. They have a finger print by this time and

we are able to see them smile at us through ultasound. Smile at us, wow. Abortion should be

illegal and charged the same as a murder; because by the deffinition of murder being that

Meanwhile the definition of abortion remains the same and is an intentional killing of a human being. How is it that if it it murder to kill a human being at any stage of life abortion is not considered murder. Murder is morally and ethically wrong, so playing by the same rules, to kill a fetus would fall under the same immoral and unethical values. When performing an abortion, the life of an innocent child is taken away. Abortion denies a child its most basic and important right to live and experience the world around them.…

If the baby was not a living thing, he would not be able to open his mouth or move his spine. The mother, doctor, and all involved are committing murder every time an abortion is performed. Our law states that when a pregnant woman is murdered it is double homicide, so how come killing a baby in the womb separate isn’t murder? Our society has many double standards because we conform to what makes others happy, but it is time we take a stand and help save the lives of many innocent children. A solution to this problem is to follow our constitution and make abortions illegal.…

Abortion isn’t murder until at least 24 weeks after conception/fertilization. This is where most people are confused. It 's easy to argue that a baby is a baby but yet at the same time scientifically a human isn 't considered a human until at least 20 weeks. From conception until 24 weeks it 's just considered a sac of cells and given the name “fetus” which normally we refer that name to an unborn baby.…

Merely six weeks into a pregnancy the heart of the fetus begins to beat. By that point it can be considered alive. Pro-choice activists will argue that women have the right to choose whether or not to terminate the life of this child because it resides inside the woman’s body. While it is the right of the woman to do what she wants with her own body, that should not make it constitutional for a woman to end someone’s life. Except in cases of rape, the woman has chosen to have sex, whether or not she is ready to have a child.…

Many argue abortion is wrong because it is believed life is created upon conception and the woman is morally obligated to give birth to the child otherwise it would be murder. The woman was responsible for the act of conception and must accept responsibility for the consequences of her actions, regardless of any long-term effects it will have on her. However if thinking that the fetus cannot live separately from the mother within the first trimester and can be considered her body. Then it wouldn’t be murder to remove a foreign body from her body.…

If the mother has an abortion she should be punished, because it is not right that they kill innocent little baby’s. God says that “ You shall not murder” you should not murder any human that is innocent. It also is unfair if a mother that killed a baby gets no jail time and a older man or women gets jail time for murder. Abortion needs to stop, because it is not right to kill a baby for the mothers mistakes. The baby did nothing wrong , even if you are not in a right position to have a baby, but if you know of someone who can’t have babies and you want to help then you can have them adopt your baby so the baby has a great home and is taken great care of.…

It is morally wrong to kill an innocent child. This includes rape or incest victims’ fetuses, if the child has a birth defect, if the parents are not fit to keep the child, or even a mother’s health should not decide rather they should terminate a pregnancy or not. When a pregnant woman is murdered, the murderer is charged with double homicide. Why is this any different when it is just the fetus that dies? It isn’t.…

According to the “Fetal Homicide Laws” that was signed by President George Washington it is against the law to injure a pregnant or her fetus. Still questions arise because to this day killing a human being is a homicide, but when it comes to aborting the life of an infant and possibly harming the mother in the future, it is fully legal. Therefore, what is considered homicide? Critics argue that if abortion is illegal, that would violating the rights of woman, others argue that this would be violating the rights of an unborn fetus.…

In my own views of abortion I think that abortion is taking an innocent humans life. It really doesn't matter if he or she is not born yet. They are developing to have their own life's, to grow, not to be killed. Killing a baby that is not yet born is taking their own rights. It is easy for someone to take it away because the baby cannot fight for it.…
