Calculation of standardization factor
Standardization factor = (mass of vitamin C titrated) / (Volume of iodine solution used) = (125g) / (41.3ml) = 3.03 mg vitamin C/ml iodine solution
Experiment B: Vitamin C titration using fresh fruit sample to determine the content
The tabulated experimental data for this experiment is shown below (Table 2). In this experiment, the amount of vitamin C was calculated by multiplying the standardization factor with a used iodine solution. That is, the amount of vitamin C in 30ml of 93.54 g mandarin orange juice was 11.514mg.

Amount of vitamin C needed by one person per day = 75 mg
Amount of vitamin C needed by one person for 50 days = 75mg*50 = 3750 mg = 3.75 g
Amount of vitamin C needed by 20 persons fro 50 days = 3750mg*20 = 75000mg = 75 g Therefore, total 75g of vitamin C is needed for 20 men during the 50 days of voyages.
DISCUSSION According to the calculations and data given in results section the following table can be concluded. The following table (Table 5) predicts how many of each fruit should be carried out to fulfill the total amount of vitamin C requirement for 20 men for 50 days. Also, it includes the mass of total fruits that calculated using the class average of mass of fruit and mass of vitamin
