Why Teenagers Go To College Essay

The reasons for teenagers to go to college in today’s times range from partying to fulfilling their childhood dreams. In between those types are students that are willing to learn and ready to better their education in order to fulfill their dreams. The students, who take their college career seriously, number one; have a much better range of reason as to why they are there and are willing to work harder to reach their goals. With the job market the way it is today, companies are demanding much more highly prepared workers. Some students go to college so they can become more knowledgeable in a wide variety of subjects. Other students simply want the ‘college experience’ and a diploma.
The American job market is flooded with jobs of all categories and requires various qualifications. Companies today are forcing people to get a college education before they will hire them. Some students only want to get away, have a good time, and may learn later that education can be a waste if not applied in their best interest. Teenagers from all over the country cannot wait to relocate to a new environment, meet new people, and experience a different culture. Some people may want to move into a tiny dorm and live with someone they have not yet met. In some occasions, students get paired with roommates from all over the world. Teens enjoy the freedom they get while being away at college, and adapting to the feeling of being treated like an adult. Students get the opportunity to make friends from all over the world. In college, kids make connections that last a lifetime. Some students enjoy living off ramen noodles and staying up all hours of the night to get the education they have been working
