In a few short years, the technology has changed the way business interact with customers – bring them a better service and more convenience in their daily life. Today’s travelers are increasingly accustomed to using technology to make their travel experience better. Especially with young generations - who craving for authentic and unique experiences as they are looking for something new when it comes to traveling. Nowadays, the guests can order a taxi just from an app or just need scanning their boarding pass from their smartphone at the airport. All the process gets much simple, save a lot of time and so much convince for the travelers. And by the time they arrive at the hotel, they will expect the same process to continue. Due to their expectation, Starwood Hotels has officially launched its SPG Keyless service that allows the guest to use their IPhone and Apple Watch to unlock the hotel's door, bypassing the front desk. With this kind of app now the guest took less time and also get rid of their concern if they bring the keys with them. Hotel chains are working on developing technology and devices that can be more efficiency in hotel transactions and operations. For example, guests can easily make an appointment for spa treatment, reserve a table at the hotel’s restaurant or event, or leave a message to housekeeping in order to requests a certain item in the room before they arrival. This makes the guest has an impression that the hotel is giving them the authority to control their room even when they haven’t arrived at the property. With this technology allows hotel service can be access at any time and at any place. Hilton Worldwide has kept their place in the technology competition by announced that they will present its own smartphone keys system at 4 brands: U.S Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Hotels & Resort and Canopy by Hilton properties are launching their new digital check-in and room selection technology only for Hilton HHonors members. The app allows the members to be able self-check in, choice their room from a digital floor plan, and also can requesting for items to be placed in their rooms before they arrive or just requesting for upgrades. However not only focusing on the technology in the hotel facility, Hilton also introduce a new loyalty campaign
