1.0. PROJECT PROPOSAL

1.1. The Firm
The Heritance Panduwasnuwara Hotel (HPH) which is a Tourist Board approved hotel is located in the North Western Province in Sri Lanka surrounded by ancient historical places. The main products in HPH are selling hospitality, leisure and quality food.
HPH offers standard accommodation for families, travel groups, honeymoon couples and anyone who expect superb service, elegant style, clean and fully facilitated rooms. HPH also provided a tranquil environment for visiting celebrities long before the days of tourism.
The hotel personnel mainly target the European, Asian, North & Latin American, Middle East, Austrasia and African tourists. At the off season, he also targets upper and middle class personal in

Eco-tourism is not touched by the HPH as the hotel itself is new to the industry. Therefore, they HPH will be introducing a new product to the existing market. They will be upgrading a selected number of rooms as green rooms and will be constructing around 10 more tree houses to make the guests more closer to the …show more content…
Evaluation of Success or Failure of the Project
Measuring the success or the failure of a project could make a big impact on the business. Therefore, the following steps should be proceeded when evaluating the project.

I. Understand what the project is trying to achieve:
The objectives of the project should be SMRT. The project leader should make sure that the relevant project should be provided with SMART objectives where those objectives should be Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time bound.
II. Design an evaluation plan:
Evaluation plan includes three steps namely, process evaluations, impact evaluations and outcome evaluations where they need to assess the process, short term objectives and the final outcome of the project, respectively.
III. Selecting possible participants :
Information/ data about a defined group or population needs to be collected
IV. Conduct progress review meetings with participants:
Regular progress review meetings should be carried out with the participants as the gaps can be identified easily and thereby, they would be able to take remedial action in order to overcome worst scenarios if there are
