Spongebab: Advertisement Analysis

Decent Essays
I chose SpongeBob SquarePants for my advertisement because he does not own a vehicle. Additionally, SpongeBob SquarePants is a chaotic driver that repeatedly fails his driving test. Uber provides safe transportation for anyone that does not own a vehicle and/or is a reckless driver. He has attempted countless of times to successfully get his driver’s license but fails. His lack of driving skills will never allow him to own his own vehicle. Uber will allow SpongeBob to never drive the streets of Bikini Bottom and possibly save the lives on others.
Uber is a safe way to get you to your desired destination safely. Uber drivers are carefully interviewed and examined for exceptional service. Uber is exceedingly trusted and available for anyone

The picture may have been predictable but it is simple. The picture shows that Uber is important for this day and age and without it people would have to spend more money on taxis and cabs. Uber and Lyft was created for the simple fact that it would be easier for people to receive a ride in the middle of the night. It would be faster than a cab, especially in the middle of the night when you really need to get home from a party. It’s quite easy, you just have to put in your card information into the app, put in your address of where you are at and the address where you want to be dropped off at, send the message out, and that is it.…

Taxis are outdated and inefficient with no real revolutionary changes having occurred in the past couple decades. Legality issues aside Ubers system is just flat out better for consumers. Plan B One-Step is intended for women who accidentally become pregnant and do not want to follow through with their pregnancy. The drug advertisement for Plan B One-Step displays what looks to be a content, White middle class young woman. In Western society White women are seen as intelligent women who can afford to purchase medication and have the credentials to decide whether or not they should buy it (Fidell & Prather, 1975, p. 23). This might be the reason a woman of colour is not shown in the ad. Black women are portrayed as poor, uneducated, and reckless individuals compared to their White-skinned counterparts (Glenn, 2009, p. 232).…
