Racial profiling is deep and it’s imbedded in our society and it’s a major problem in the United States. It 's single handily cause most of our police problems. Evening though we are living in a post-civil rights era race it plays a large issue in our society. Majority of problems dealing with race stem from racial profiling. Racial profiling is very illegal in the US, it violates our right to unreasonable search and seizure, which is found in the fourth amendment of the constitution. It also a very pointless procedure that is use of our police department. It alienates minority communities from black, Mexican and Asian. It creates a problem and gap of unreasonable policing and it cause issues between the police and the community. Racial profiling

According to a recent study 4% of the Asian population have admitted to experiencing racial profiling ("Racial Profiling: Definition"). These events lead to officer question Asian American can they speak English. Then there profiling issue against Native Americans such as, “Driving While Indian.” According to the, National American Indian Housing Council, there has been as many 2.4 million in the U.S. that where stop outside of reservation based on their tags, or their religious items found in or outside their cars ("Racial Profiling: Definition"). There is evidence at the national level that “Black drivers (4.5%) were twice as likely as White drivers (2.1%) to be arrested during a traffic stop,” and, “while Hispanic drivers (65%) were more likely than White (56.2%) or Black (55.8%) drivers to receive a ticket." Also In addition, Whites (9.7%) were more likely than Hispanics (5.9%) to receive a written warning (Agencies). All these finding come from the U.S. Department of Labor 's Bureau of Justice Statistics. Those are just the national number the local number in some instance are far worse. It safe to say if you are a minority in the US you are more likely to be targeted by the local or state or federal law
