For as long as I can remember, I have dreamed of being a Nurse, specifically a Pediatric Nurse. It began when I was 8 years old, I was always sick. I had stomach problems and stayed in a Pediatric hospital for days, sometimes even weeks. During my times in the hospital, I became close with many of the doctors and nurses. I recall feeling upset at times, not scared. I don’t think it was only the fact that I was unaware of my condition, but rather the trust I had in the doctors and the nurses. They were like a second family; I was given such care that it didn’t feel like it was their job to do so.
