Why I Want To Become A Pediatric Nurse

As a nursing student, I have the opportunity to not only learn in a classroom, but also learn in the hospital through clinical, something that is rare for college students. With each clinical experience, I have been able to see what I do and do not like and have been able to find my nursing passion. Some of the nursing experiences that I have been afforded have included neurology, respiratory, oncology, obstetrics, psychiatric, and geriatric, but the one that I have fallen in love with is pediatrics. This past spring was my first true exposure to pediatric nursing; I have always loved kids and thought that I would like to work with them, but my feelings were truly solidified through my pediatric nursing course. I truly loved every moment
