Being helpful was always my biggest trait as a person. I’ve always loved to help people and since a young age I knew I wanted to work in the medical fields. First it was being a Doctor for many years. I’ve learned that it’s a lot of work and schooling. So now I’ve been stuck on becoming a nurse. I want to be that someone who takes your blood pressure, your temperature, and just helps families out in general. They’re called Registered Nurses or RN for short. RN’s work with Doctors in Hospitals and in a Physician’s office and you can find them just about anywhere in a health care area. What do RN’s do? Well they can do many things, but they mainly focus on one beings health and what procedures should be done for them to get better. They record your symptoms, operate medical equipment, they explain to families what is happening and what they should do at home. The biggest job a Nurse does is comfort you, they know how to make you forget what’s going on and they help you out.
To become a RN you have to go through some schooling. You need at least four years of college and you have to take many Science’s. You have to take Chemistry, Anatomy, Nutrition, Psychology, and Microbiology. There are more sciences that you might have to take. You can have two types of degrees in nursing.
