Modern Day Attachment

Multiple different technological advances have happened within the past few centuries. As many would say, I believe the cell phone has grossly effected every day life, however not in any positive light. I believe the modern day attachment to these screens in our pockets have not ony driven us further from eachother as one, but given us all the opportunity to hide who we truly are behind a keyboard on this ellaborate device, one which the population is required to have based off of the standards for current technology we have set upon ourselves. We need to have the most pristine, new smartphones, for some reason that defines who we are as people, shows our social status and that is far more than what the telephone was originally intended as. …show more content…
I consider technology to be something to help us thrive as people, something to assistus in our lives, not something to become our life. This can be said about most other modern-day technology, however in my eyes, the issue is not with the technology itself, the issue lies within the operator who may get the mentality that ends up driving humanity apart as a
