Softball is my favorite sport. I started playing it since i was just four. Of course when I was four it didn't mean much to me but I stuck with it. Now I am almost 16 years old and it's taught me so much. I know it is just a sport but when you spend as many weekends on a field as me instead of being with friends or going to do something else, you begin to learn and love softball like it's your best friend. When I got into highschool I realized how important this sport is to me. I wouldn't be the same without it. This is because all the lessons i've learned during all the games and tournaments. You may not play softball but you must have something you're passionate about so put this in connection with what you find passionate. Maybe it will make you realize something or motivate you or even inspire you. Whatever it is I hope it impacts you in some way. A big thing about this game is it’s set up for failure either for your team or the other team. Basically, it's all about your team fighting for what's hard to get. I wouldn't be the same without it. Thanks to my parents who have worked so hard to get me to where I am and for supporting me ever game along with my grandparents. It's just such a big part of my life. My dad was the one who taught me how to play and has been my coach a lot and if I have any questions I know I can go to him for them. He's a great coach and i'm so glad that he got me started in this and I have stuck with it. He's the person who gave me motivation to work hard and get rid of my excuses. If I don't feel like going to practice that day he always reminds me that the work will pay
