The second advertisement uses four different social psychology methods to persuade people, which are Halo Effect, Framing Effect, Scheme, and the Social Comparison.

One of the psychology methods used by this advertisement was Halo Effect. They used this method by using an attractive women in the ad to try to convey the idea that anyone how uses this kind of eyeliner will be equally as attractive as this lady. This is the Halo effect because they use an attractive individuals to explains to their audience that they could be better in all sorts of ways. They also use the Halo Effect by using specific colors in the eyeliner to make their audience think that women is very attractive.

This advertisement uses the Framing Effect by putting many things like fades and textures which make the advertisement feel that this product has a positive aspect overall. One of the things they add to the advertisement to give it positive feel is a fade of white in the background and have her have bold her to give it the classic angelic look to it. They also have her give an innocent face for people to think he is a angel. They have flower textures in the bed to provide the idea that she not only laying in a bed, but she laying in flowers, which is something that is connect with happanies.

They also do this by having the movie star wear lingerie and making women think that not only need to buy the eyeliner to look like her but they need to buy clothes like that for men/women to pay attention to them.
