Abstract
The Health care industry is today very turbulent and dynamic As a result employees face a lot of work related stress which makes it difficult at time even for them to have a proper balance between work life and personal life This is true in spite of the fact that today stress is seen as a indispensable part of life. In another study conducted by P.S. Swaminathan & Rajkumar S. (2013) it was established that levels of stress faced by individuals depended upon the age group, profession, different varieties of jobs, hours of work and the influence of work environment . The study also identified three conditions responsible for work stress to be overload at work, the role of self-distance and the role of stagnation. World class organizations are of the view that stress in executives’ job reduces the performance level of the executives. Therefore this problem of stress among executives, need to be investigated and analysed from various angles in order to enable the executives to perform at their most optimum level, thereby resulting in the betterment of the organization and their well-being.
The researcher has therefore taken up the major problem of stress among Human Resource Executives in health care industry and has analysed the same from various perspectives and dimensions to give a complete and comprehensive picture of stress affecting the efficiency of the executives.
Need & Importance of the
