Monin is consistently there for her children. If anything happens to them, she is the first person there. She might not express it as affectionately as she should, but the important thing is that she is very reliable. For example, as soon as Raymond hurt his foot on the bike, Monin was looking for the best doctors in Puerto Rico. And when they said they would have to “amputate” Raymond’s foot, she refused and took him to an excellent doctor in New York. On the other hand, Pablo was not as reliable. This is mainly because he was almost never there. After one of the more serious arguments with Monin he wouldn’t come back home for days, and when he did get back, he wasn’t as involved in his children’s lives as much as he was
