It was the sixth game in the world series against the Dodgers! Only one thought was going through Javier Baez’s mind as he bolted down the third base line when all of the sudden the ball that Jon Lester had just hit a bunt with landed in the pitcher glove. “Uh, Oh… I when a little early.” Baez said, as a grin grew on his face. “Or maybe really early, I guess.” Javier Baez plays infielder (2nd base) for the 2016 World Series winning team “The Chicago Cubs.” Javier Baez is currently 24 years old. Born on December 1st, 1992. He’s 6 feet tall, and has been on the Cubs sense 2014. Baez is about 185 Ibs, He has one sister (Noely Baez) and two brothers (Gadiel Baez, and Rolando Baez). Baez has more than a dozen on his arms and some on his legs, his tattoos tell a life story! Javier Baez has one on his neck of the Major League Baseball logo that represents his “love for the game.” He has a tattoo on his upper arm of his sister, Noely Baez. She had died April 8, 2015 of spina bifida. On his wrist he has his mother’s name (Nelly/Nelida). His mom never liked tattoos, so he got with her name so she wouldn’t be as mad. Javier girlfriend is Irmarie Marquez; she is a die-hard fan of the Cubs. She says that god is the team’s protector “With God on our side” is a phrase she uses.
