My favorite place to be is a baseball field. I am most comfortable when I am playing baseball. There is no more relaxing feeling to me than trotting out to shortstop while the hot, golden brown dirt kicks up from my heels. As soon as I take a step out on the field, I forget everything outside of baseball. Before every game, I warm up by taking ground balls. As simple and meaningless as this sounds, it is one of my favorite things to do. Every single ground ball I field, I field with passion. Each one means something.
