It was July 2nd, 2010 and we were at my brother’s last freshman baseball game of the year. After that we got home and got our bags made sure we had everything and then we hit the road it was about 4:30 p.m. when we started to head to Chicago. I was excited because it was my first time being out of the state of Iowa. On the way down to Chicago we were listening to the Cubs game and they won that game and the next day was the game we were going to. We were sitting down the Left Field line in foul territory. In July of 2011 we were to Chicago for the second time. We are going with my family other than just the four of us. We stayed in a very nice hotel. We are going to the game and we're sitting the Right Field bleachers and then we ran …show more content…
It was 4:30 p.m. and we were listening to the game on the radio and the Cubs were winning I do not remember the score exactly. It was 11:30 p.m. and were just about in Chicago and we saw some nice fireworks on July 2nd. So we got to the hotel and we all got up in our rooms and we took the couch bed out so I could sleep on that because my brother takes up a lot of room* when he sleeps and my brother said,” you wouldn’t like …show more content…
The highlight for the Cubs that day was Aramis Ramirez the third baseman for the Cubs who hit a homerun* that game. Other than that the Cubs lost that game and I didn’t care because all I could think of was going to run the bases. So after the game I went now to field level I looked around imagining someday if I could play on this field. I remember feeling the padded wall down the right field wall and looking at the visiting bullpen mounds. I felt I was in heaven like running the bases at Wrigley Field was a dream come true best experience of my life I will never forget that day. The Chicago Cubs crew said, “we cannot run on the grass rounded third base because if you have the wrong shoe you could kill their grass.” I ran the bases as fast as I could and I felt that was the fastest I ever ran the bases. After I was done running the bases I looked from home plate out to centerfield and looked at Wrigley Field to look at the perspective of a hitter and what they seen while they are up there it was the best MLB stadium that I will ever go

One extremely hot blazing day in 2011 we were at Seneca, South Carolina. We were watching Tyler Kesterson ,my brother, and Trendin McKinney ,Kynsie's brother, at the World Series and our brother's team was in the field first ,Southwest Arkansas. When the first batter was up and Cane Edwards our pitcher threw the ball and the batter hit the ball to short stop and T.K threw it to first base and everyone screamed and shouted for him. We got three outs our turn to bat and there was no run limit and Tyler was up to bat and he hit it to outfield and he run to second base and then Kyle Blagg got up to bat and got a single. Logan Wilcher was next up to bat and he hit it to short stop and the bases was loaded with zero outs and Trendin McKinney was up to bat and he was a home run hitter.…

The Midwest is home to states with rich cultural backgrounds and popular tourist attractions. To take a break from the busy schedule I have as a student, and to avoid writing more essays like this, I went on a vacation to Michigan with my mother and two siblings. We visited South Haven, a pleasant port city on Lake Michigan’s east coast, and Detroit, the famous largest city in Michigan. These areas interest me because there’s plenty to do; there are amazing restaurants, breath-taking scenery, and family-friendly, inexpensive entertainment. South Haven is famed for its relaxed atmosphere and homely feel.…

Back in the gang I was fourteen years old when I saw the perfect image and decided to back out. I was about to break into the Jamesons house. Back in the rich neighborhood, back in the gang, back before everything changed. We rode up to Fall Creek, the neighborhood. After driving through the big, confusing, dark neighborhood at night we found a house with a black plaque that said, ‘Welcome to the Jameson’s’ Jacob, Tyler, Ra’shawn, Andrew, and I walked to the back of the gray house.…

It was the most incredible feeling in the world to run and lay out your full body in the moist grass. It was an even better feeling when you came up with the catch. The most memorable part of the season was playing outfield. I remember the ball flying over my head, I was too arrogant to play back any further. I only had one thought at that moment, and that was to catch the ball.…

My high school baseball team had squeaked into its first playoff appearance in five years and we were set to play as the underdogs in the CIF playoffs against Ventura High School. After a hard fought game, we reached the top of the last inning and were down 1-0 with a man on second base and two outs. I proceeded to hit a double off the left field wall to tie the game. I had never achieved such an adrenaline rush in my entire life. That moment instantly became my favorite sports moment.…

I felt really good about that day. With confidence, I walked back in the dugout and waited for the game to begin. I went to go put on my helmet because I was the first up to bat on the small list that hung next to the door. I walked up halfway to the mound and started to do a few practice swings. As I tried to do my best swings, I watched the refs return over to home plate after measuring the distance between the bases.…

It was a nice summer day when my father took me to my first Yankees game. “If I saved a quarter a day for life, do you think I could have that one day?” He replied “Put your heart into I, and you can achieve anything.” I was referring to a player’s car that drove by that was glowing as it passed by. I knew it was a player’s car, because he drove to a designated parking lot labeled “Players Garage.”…

I never expected something bad to happen that day. It was my parents anniversary night, May 11th, 2017, and of course, I had a softball game. We knew that the opposing team was better than us, but we still played hard, until the accident, that is when everything fell apart. My parents anniversary night was on one of my last home games of the season, but not the teams. Our game was at the Hyatt Elementary softball/baseball fields.…
