Hard Work Project Analysis

In general, this project has taught me key 21st century skills such as creativity, collaboration, communication, organization and working in a group. The uniqueness of this project was a great learning experience because I 've never done this type of project in any of my other classes. If I could do one thing differently, it would be to leave more time in class towards the end of the project to be able to practice as a group what each of us were going to say when it came time to present to the architects and realtors. On block day before the presentation, we only ran through what we were going to say once and I wish we would have left more time to practice. My process for this project was to break it down into steps to help better manage my time, not to mention it also, took a potentially overwhelming project into smaller sections. Our first task for the project was sketching …show more content…
Our similar personalities helped us work together. In the beginning, we all agree that we want to get our work done and to use our time in class efficiently, however, some days one of my group members wouldn 't do any work unless we had to ask them to do it, though, towards the end of the project they took the initiative and did what needed to be done without me asking them. When collaborating with my group, I learned communication skills was key in order to effectively plan and organize our project to complete it one on time. The best part of working with a group on this project was that it exposed me to different points of view which made our final product better. Individually, I was able to contribute to the group by completing my work in class and if didn’t I would finish it at home. Besides finishing my work, I shared my ideas and helped my group members on the calculations part because they struggled with that individual

First, what worked well was how our group integrated our individual skills together to complete the project. When we introduced ourselves and what our concentrations were, it was easy to determine what roles and responsibilities we would take on. We worked individually on our tasks before meeting together and integrating everything into the final product. The problems that arose primarily concerned communication and scheduling group meetings.…

My first project was about Al Capone and he was a super fun person to learn about. I wrote an essay and made a blueprint of the Alcatraz cell house. A cool fact I learned was that Al Capone was responsible for putting expiration dates on milk bottles. Figuring out the project process was a bit hard at first, but as time continued to move it got a lot easier. When you figure it out it gets a lot easier.…

Once she started to go in depth with the instruction and rules, they are no way I’m going to participate in this project! While I’m sitting in class overthinking I immediately mumble “I’m taking this lost for sure”, but she stated the percentage of the project my mind changed. “I have to do this project; it shouldn’t be bad.” Before, I thought of where I should start this project I became nervous, but excited. It’s something unusually, unique, and unladylike.…

The Boy Scouts of America is one of the largest youth organizations in the nation, having an astounding 2.4 million youth involved in its programs. Since 2007 I have been lucky to consider myself one of those members. Starting in third grade, I joined as a Bear Cub, in the Cub Scout program, and have made my way from there up to the highest rank in Boy Scouts, Eagle. When I started my journey I was a fairly quiet kid, reserved and not very good at controlling a group.…

As the senior project comes to an end, I am truly excited about the benefit my influence has had on the community. My senior project was just another step to the legacy that I have implemented in Warren County. Thinking back to freshman year, senior project seemed so boring and far away. I never would have imagined the progress and success I've had with my senior project. My interest has stayed the same but I wouldn't think that I would have County Commissioners and a House of Representative present at my event.…

At the Boys and Girls club, I gathered many samples of conversation. It surprised me how mature some of the students seemed whenever I talked to them after the haunted house. One example of this was when I told a group of second or third grade girls that I was laying on the floor in the locker room. The response that I received was “You were not, do you know what is on that floor! People these day laying on the floor that is disgusting!”…

I was able to create my first storyboard and treatment, which was really fun for me. I was also challenged to work with a partner and brainstorm our ideas and be able to agree on a concept. I learned how to use some of the basic equipment for this project and I got to try out some more advanced editing techniques, which I really gained a lot from. What I really value about this project though, is that I was able to bring a simple idea in my head, work it onto paper and a shot list, and then eventually bring it to life. It truly is an incredible feeling to see something from your head come to life and be something other than just a thought.…

You could say we went through the “forming” and “storming” stages of group work that semester. Second semester, after we had an opportunity to analyze each other’s strengths, we were able to work much more efficiently. We evolved into a united group with common goals, and this evolution is reflected in the deliverables we created in 732 to 752. We learned a lot about the questions to ask when designating roles on a project and paying attention to identify these strengths. We also learned about our own strengths in the process.…

At the beginning of the semester, we were assigned a team project. At first, the assignment sounded difficult to me because it was just at the beginning of the semester and I did not know my classmates or the team members assigned to my group. With the help of the teachers I was able to meet and get to know my team members by their names, we exchanged our phone numbers and email address to ease communication. In our first meeting, we were able to select the team leader, come up with the rules to govern the team and also plan the times we were going to be holding the team meeting every week. In our second session, we were able to come up with the project, discuss the project then divided and allotted tasks to each member.…
