I would be more proactive and initiate communication amongst the team. I both post in the discussion board and then email every member with my contact information along with a Google Doc of the assignment. To minimize the challenges of scheduling meetings, I would also tell everyone the times I am available to meet during the initial contact and ask everyone to do the same. This way we can decide early on what our schedule as a team is and plan our meetings accordingly. Though this assignment was not without its challenges, it was a valuable learning experience that I would look forward to doing again in the…

Question 1 Having the chance to work for the Leo Burnett Company is a great opportunity. I feel many employees come to realize and appreciate this as they work in its fast pace environment that promotes comradery and team work. The company itself is well established and has a vision that drives it to continue to expand and grow, in spite of an environment that is continuously changing with the desire of the consumer. Due to the fact that this was the first group meeting of the semester, the beginning stage of the interaction was incredibly important. The beginning stage impacted the rest of the session, as for the first time a group of strangers were meeting, and attempting to deduce all of our similarities, and our differences. Therefore, providing introductions and facts about ourselves really assisted the group in being able to understand one another, and move on in a comfortable manner. Furthermore, the beginning stage was especially interesting as a facilitator, as the group collectively had a chance to learn about what we currently know about social work group practice, and what we can build upon going on in the semester. Understanding one another’s strengths and weaknesses is important in developing comradery in a group, and was especially important in the beginning…
