Al Capone Blueprint

Decent Essays
My first project was about Al Capone and he was a super fun person to learn about. I wrote an essay and made a blueprint of the Alcatraz cell house. A cool fact I learned was that Al Capone was responsible for putting expiration dates on milk bottles. Figuring out the project process was a bit hard at first, but as time continued to move it got a lot easier. When you figure it out it gets a lot easier.
I wanted to learn as much as I could on the topic of Al Capone and Alcatraz I myself would like to think that I accomplished that goal. I hoped to accomplish getting everything done on time. All of the sources I used were super helpful and really great, but my favorite was Lori from Alcatraz she was super helpful. I used a number of sources

Five minutes later I was back, staring at the blueprint idea again and I thought in my head “well I can’t really think of anything else and that’s the story of how I came up with the idea for a blueprint. Definitely the downside of this project was basically all of the websites were blocked and it got really annoying after a while. My intention of creating a blueprint was I knew that no one was going to make a blueprint. The quality of my products are I guess you could say are pretty, good but not exactly great I might redraw it but I might not so you never know.
The blocked internet was the most difficult and getting like 50 notecards done in a two hour span because if I wanted to go feeding America I had to finish my notecards and I had to swim that night so that was an adventure. The easiest part of my project was picking my topic, I knew I had to do a project on Al Capone. The most rewarding part of my project was the end of it and knowing I had actually finished. I learned that at times being a gangster could be pretty fun but at times it was really bad. Another project idea that comes to mind is the history of the Chicago outfit and how it’s evolved of the years. The quality of my products and project kind of reflect my logs, but that depends on the way you look at

    I. Alphonse Capone was one of the most powerful criminals in the history of the United States. He was powerful during the Jazz age and became so famous by illegally selling alcohol during the Prohibition, that he was one of the main reasons Prohibition came to an end. Capone’s rise to power helped abolish Prohibition as the city became more dangerous with the illegal bootlegging industry. From a very young age, working under Frankie Yale and Johnny Torrio, he started to get tougher and more criminal. Soon after, as he started to get more and more influence, the city started to get crime-infested.…

For writing project one I used the essay “Look at Your Fish: In the Laboratory with Agassiz” by Samuel Scudder. I choose this essay because it was the most relatable. I also liked how it was short and simple and straight to the point, which helped me pick up the main idea of the essay quicker. I related to the learning style of Scudder and his struggle of picking out the details. Not only was this easy relatable, but it also contained great quotes that flowed into my essay stupendous lousy.…

Every year at my high school, we do an end-of-the-year project called the Interdisciplinary Project. For junior year, our entire class had to create our very own amusement park by creating business plans, models, brochures and even presentations to pitch to investors. When we were separated into groups of seven we had to elect a leader and they choose me. As leader I first analyzed my teammates’ intentions for the project, were they trying to get an A+ or was receiving a B- fine. By analyzing their intentions I was able to ascertain the work potential that members would put out towards the project.…
