    The Hare Psychopathy Checklist-Revised (PCL-R) The first psychological disorder to be recognized in the field of psychology was psychopathy, which sometimes is known as sociopathy. Psychopathy is a personality disorder, which refers to individuals who display tendencies of antisocial behavior and traits. Some of the behaviors associated with Psychopathy are grandiosity, egocentricity, deceptiveness, shallow emotions, lack empathy, irresponsibility and impulsivity. They also have the tendency to disobey what is considered to be social norms. Individuals labeled as psychopath normally tends to display low conscientiousness when making decisions, might have either too low or too high level of anxiety. Psychopaths have tough personalities that might come across as aggressive and hostile due to the lack social skills. They are also driven by impulse and in some cases they tend to seek for sensation.
