Introduction

Veterans face many hardships that often stem from their service to our country thus their satisfaction with the healthcare they receive is of the upmost importance. Customer satisfaction is an important measurement that helps businesses and agencies know how well they are doing. If a business or agency wants to retain their current customers and bring in new ones, they must focus on the quality of three key elements that influence customer satisfaction. These elements are the facilities, treatment/services, and staff. This study will gauge the level of customer satisfaction by refining the research problem, completing a comprehensive review of the literature, developing a research method, and administering a survey.

Without them, there is no reason for the center to exist. Customer satisfaction of the patients is crucial because if they are not pleased with their experience they can seek treatment at a different hospital or healthcare center. The VAMC needs those customers to spend their time and money at their location so they can continue to keep their doors open. A business or agency can be successful if they provide customers with an enjoyable experience. The rate of a customer’s satisfaction effects not only if they spend their money but also how often and how much. If a customer does not have a good experience with a company or organization the probability of them being a loyal customer declines. There’s always a chance that customers will return out of necessity or convenience but they will not be devoted to the business.
Customers that do have an exceptional experience are likely to return frequently to spend more money and will share their positive story to other potential customers either through social media or word-of-mouth. Veterans who are pleased with their experiences will develop a sense of loyalty and encourage other ex-service members to check out the treatment offered by the organization. Companies and agencies who can keep their customers or patients satisfied are also able to increase their profits and advance their business. Customer satisfaction is used to calculate and analyze how effective a business or organization is at serving their customers. Professionals who know whether their customers are satisfied and to what extent can make more informed decisions and plans. Thus, customer satisfaction is integral to the prosperity of any company. Customer satisfaction is interrelated to both service quality and servicescape. If a business can improve their service quality and servicescape then they can increase customer satisfaction which in turn boosts loyalty and
