In nowadays the various kinds of diseases has caused fear to human beings. The proverb tells the “THE HEALTH IS MORE PRECIOUS WEALTH” of all human beings. That’s the reason the people are seek the medical help for receiving to restore the good health. But some of the diseases have simply give remedial by solo health care providers but rest of the diseases should not be possible to treat by general clinic due to lack of modern equipment and lack of facilities. So the peoples have to select the multi-specialty hospitals for treatment. A multi-speciality hospital must contain more than one specialty and it means the hospitals providing services or staff members of several medical specialties. It is the major problem to undergone the treatment for the people in the society. Since it is important that health care institutions pay more attention in developing effective ways to satisfy the desires and needs of patients. Because it is the role in the lives of every individual and health is what we need in order to live. Previously many studies were conducted towards the service quality and patient satisfaction but some researchers only focused in what way the service quality its made impact on patient satisfaction, Nevertheless, there was undecided of what dimension do customers of hospital rate the quality of services rendered to its patients and which dimension is more important for the patients to get satisfied. So, the study mainly concentrating in how the service quality has made impact on patient satisfaction and to identify the discrepancy in their services Thus an attempt has made to study the service quality of hospitals in health care …show more content…
The earlier studies have considered the service quality and patient satisfaction taken as a variable to determine the performance of health care industries. Many research studies clearly show the gap that exists between the sort of servicing patient’s expectation to receive and the service they actually received. Only a very few studies were compared these two variables with limited number of hospitals. To overcome these gaps, the present study has been undertaken to study the relationship between service quality and patient satisfaction.
