Transformational Leadership

Steve Jobs was a transformational leader. Mr. Jobs’ vision was to improve the peoples’ quality of life by enhancing and implementing new technological methods in communication and visual art. His approach to leadership is distinctive in its capacity to develop a common vision, sell the vision, chart the way forward, and champion change (Imbimbo, 2009; Lusted, 2012). Similar to Steve Jobs, I have used my to improve the peoples’ quality of life. I apply the same approaches in my leadership as a nurse, always working toward innovation to enhance the quality of nursing care. As a transformational leader, I have been is a position to influence public health policies and implement innovative changes that can positively impact peoples’ lives.
