Training Plan: Communication It is very important to lay out the plan backed up with reasoning behind it and the possible outcome when communication strategy is being discussed. Main focus while conducting a training plan should be the importance of communication among the team members. In order to make sure the team member understand the comprehensive goal of the company they must understand the power of working together and communicating well with each other. First step of the training plan would be to discuss about the communication strategy with the team about its benefits and explain why the proposed plan is helpful in achieving the desired goals. This will be done by setting up a meeting at least twice a week where representatives from each teams will discuss about each others progress. Having interactions with each other and sharing ideas will help to build the team morale and also come up with great ideas. In addition, it also helps the team to discover each other weaknesses and strengths which should be shared amongst them learning from each other. There is a high possibility of building the trust, common framework and responsibility amongst the teams through the collaboration process (Pherson, 2009). The whole upper management and the employees should have a mentality of working as a collaborative team. Managers at all time should be aware of the impediment that is keeping the team from achieving the goal and work out a solution to get things done.
Training Plan: Methods To ensure that the collaboration process goes on smoothly, it is very necessary to have an effective training plan. There are various questions that will arise on how to create a training plan. Few of the questions would be to understand the goals for the training, ways in improving skills and techniques, how can the workplace behavior can be changed, if the training is possible with the budget that the organization currently has etc. One of the training methods which can be used is by using story telling techniques which would be real life stories on how other teams were able to execute the collaboration amongst teams. Next one would be by providing online training as well as collaborative training sessions between teams.
