Workplace change is hard enough when employees resist change because it affects how they complete tasks. Management can see that it can affect production or customer service if employees resist change. Change can occur at any moment in the company. Implementing change is one of the most difficult things to do in the workplace from the manager 's point of view. Management must be able to accept and acknowledge the change that has occurred or that is bound to occur. Before employees are informed of the change, management, and managers must first accept the change and how they will implement it. They must first take a step back and look at how to inform the rest of the company of the change. Sometimes change is unavoidable and it just happens whether management likes it or not. Managers must keep a positive attitude, so it can flow through the company. If the managers are seen unhappy, the employees will feel the same way.

Sometimes, change is not controlled by the workplace. Outside forces tend to make the changes such as a supplier going out of business. Implementing change is one of the most difficult things to do in the workplace from the manager 's point of view. Resistance to change is a common reflex to how employees react when undergoing a new change in the company.
