When striving for success, there are no limits to one's full potential. Reaching your goals is something that seems impossible. However, anything is possible when you set your mind to it. Only a few have managed to put their foot through the doorway and get a step closer to reaching some of their goals.
Senior Elia Monarrez was recently awarded the Illinois State Tuition Waiver (ISTW) which is a scholarship the military provides that promises to pay 100% tuition in participating universities and colleges that offer an ROTC curriculum.
“I'm so happy that I got awarded this scholarship. I thought I was not going to receive it but I made sure I gave it my all to do my best” said Monarrez.
