International students might facing some problems when they left home and study in a foreign country, problems of ’culture shock’ surely are what international students faced. Culture shock describes the impact of moving from a familiar culture to one which is unfamiliar. It is an experience described by people who have travelled abroad to work, live or study (UKCISA,23 August 2013). This essay will analysis the problems of culture shock and find out the solutions.

Some international students are finding that teaching models are quite different to their countries, so they can’t follow the pace of lessons, finality become a big problem for them. (Krissy lsenberg lowa,25 April 2001) However, the main reason that international student can’t follow the class is the language, but they also can solves this problem by many methods, just like don’t be scare for asking questions and do some preparation before the lessons. Also, students can chat with their tutors after lesson, catching up what they have done in the class. The next problem of culture shock is food in the UK, fish and cripes and roast are the British traditional food; we can see that sold in everywhere, however, many international students are hate it. In my experiments, we have fish and cripes on every Friday and roast meat on every Wednesday at school, make some international student to be weary of British food. I suggested international students can buy ingredients in supermarket and cook it themselves or have a meal in other counties style restaurant.
