Describe the role of the ethics officer in implementing and monitoring the policy created in part A to ensure compliance:
An ethics officer of an organization would largely be responsible for making sure employees stay compliant with the ethical procedures that are in place within the company. An ethics officer would create and maintain the company’s ethical culture, and expect that employees act ethically even when the law does not require it. An ethics officer would be the main point of contact within the organization for any ethical issues that may arise.
The ethics officer at TechFite would need to do several things to implement and monitor the policies listed above. First, they would need to organize the annual leadership training for all levels of management. This would include different areas of training for each level of management, and requiring documentation to ensure participation. The ethics officer would also be in charge of setting up the employee engagement surveys through an uninvolved third party. It would be of upmost importance to keep the surveys anonymous so employees feel comfortable enough to be completely honest. The ethics officer would also monitor the employee donation match program to make sure the funds donated are actually going to the appropriate local charity and/or organization within the
