The best method to handle the situation before whistleblowing it should follow the following advice:
First, collect enough evidence of the problem that you’re trying to expose. Having evidence to back up the grievance is important to as a proof of evidence. Second, build support among colleagues and others, and wait for the right opportunity to come. It is important that you are well investigated and prepare a backup plan for escape if things go wrong.
