Before I even think about implementing a stroke prevention program, I must look at all of the potential resources that are available. In addition, I must explore the setting that the program will be initiated in. As a health educator, at this stage one of the biggest issue’s is accessing grants for programs that can help a vast majority of the adult community. However, some potential grants for stroke prevention may be only limited to women. With that being said it, will take time to find grants that work for a vast majority of the community. For the stroke prevention program, I may decide to form an implementation team. These key individuals will be important because the can act as a vessels and sail my stroke prevention program into full implementation. For my particular program if the setting is within a workplace environment, may choose to have assistant managers as a component to my implementation team. With the aid of assistant managers, I could keep stakeholders engage and aware. More importantly, including important individuals like assistant managers can help increase the readiness of the entire staff. For example, if staff workers see their managers or boss engage in stroke preventive exercises, then staff members may decide to conform to the behavior base of subjective norms. Another potential resource for the impeletnion team would be individuals who are skilled with analyzing and collecting data. Because my program will require some sort of cardiovascular exercise medical issues may arise. With that being said, before any of my clients become engage with my program, then they must provide proof of clearance. Not only will I need to worry about my client’s medical limits, I must also provide a safe environment. It would be unprofessional for me to force my clients to exercise in outside areas that are high in crime. Ethical issues may also occur during the implementation of my program. For example, some health educators may feel the need to not mention the exercise component of their program. Some health educators may feel that if they mention anything that exercise related, they may scare away potential clients. However, one must ask if it’s ethical to hold back
