We all have felt stressed at least once in our life times whether it be for a speech, for an exam, or in your relationships with those around you.
Not only have I felt stressed, but I have also read some articles that I’m willing to share with you about all the things there are to stress.
I will inform you about what stress is, the good side of stress and the bad side of stress.

Signs such as body aches, trouble sleeping or waking up, changes in appetite, often colds, or being unable to concentrate or complete tasks are signs of too much stress.

Transition: Finally, I will inform about the good effects of stress.
Good stress is also known as eustress.
With moderate levels of stress, neurons in the brain grow stronger connections that help enhance memory and attention span (Whyte).
According to the lab rat study by Daniela Kaufer I mentioned earlier, the lab rats that were given moderate stress for a short period of time without any physical activity, showed a growth of stem cells which are essential to form new brain cells (Jaret).
Another benefit that can be brought from stress is enhancement in the immune system (Higuera).
Moderate stress causes the body to produce a chemical named interleukins. This chemical gives a boost to the immune system to protect the body.
Therefore, a person can count on good stress to prevent or heal them from any infection or cold.
