A child’s background, how they were treated and raised this factors into weather or not they will become aggressive or have violent thoughts. What they were taught what was right or wrong, their point of view and perception of society. Sure video games have simulated violence that might influence a child somehow, but is that really truly the reason? Have people just been too naive and not knowing everything about both sides. The youth who have done school shootings have been known to play video games, frequently but that’s not the whole reason, it’s just a small part in the whole big scheme of things. People get too focused on one thing, and once they do, they won’t care for the other side, they’ll always believe that they’re right. This is what has happened in today’s society. The media presents video games as being the main reason for youth violence and then people's perspectives get set on one point of view. It’s like trying to talk to a brick wall.
