Do Video Games Cause Violence A boy plays a new first person shooter game that he got before he goes to bed. The boy wakes up the next morning, do you think he wants to go to school and kill everyone now? No thats only for people with issues, the boy wants to go tell his friends about the game and how cool the game was. People play videogames for “sport” or to have fun. If someone wants to play it to kill someone or think that they are gonna respon, one they should be in a mental institute and two they are dumb. A very small number of people that are in jail who killed someone because of a videogame. People are trying to get rid of an aspect in everyday life and taking fun away which is videogames. Only really stupid kill people because of videogames, they must have a problem if they kill people because of video games. When researchers first started …show more content…
The stupid people that think people can respawn, and they can hotwire cars without getting caught because in some games you can do that. Just like everything else, if one person does something bad than the whole group gets affected. A quote from the APA group interviewed by CNN“ The research demonstrates a consistent relation between violent video games use and it increases aggressive behavior” However they also say “ after more than 20 years of research we can still not find an answer. This shows that all the research that they have been doing does not show a final answer in this argument. There just not a `enough evidence to prove that videogames cause violence. To reach any conclusions about weather playing a first person shooter will increase the likelihood that someone will shoot people in real life, there needs to be more research.
