Have you ever wondered if youth violence is caused by violent video games? Violent video games have no effect on youth violence. Adolescence have been playing violent video games for a long period of time. Here is just a few of many reasons that violent video games don’t contribute to youth violence.
Violent video games do not contribute to youth violence. Kids see fantasy violence all the time, from Harry Potter and the Minions to Bugs Bunny and Tom and Jerry (Violent Video Games). Youth violence has decreased in the years 1994 to 2014. “The US military uses violent video games to train soldiers to kill” (Violent Video Games). According to procon.org,”from 1994 to 2014 murders by juveniles acting alone fell 76% (Violent Video Games).
