This leadership is very people oriented, meaning that someone who has this leadership skill will focus on others needs over their own. This leadership makes me think of being selfless and how when someone is completely selfless they care about others before themselves. I don’t know if I’ve ever found a manager that has a servant leader still but I know that in the world there are leaders that have this leadership. This leadership is strong in many different aspects and will help managers better understand their employees. An example is, “Perhaps the easiest example is Jesus Christ as described in the four gospels of the Christian religion” (Grimsley). I can see some traits that I would carry with me if I was a manager from authentic leadership is that I draw from my inspiration and that’s where my passion comes from. When people have the same passion as me I feel drawn to them and love talking to people about my inspirations. My biggest inspiration is to one day own my own preschool and daycare because I’m very passionate about teaching and helping the younger generation. Being that this is the authentic side of me sometimes I feel blinded about other options that I might have in front of me. But as a manager I would try to have both leadership traits to better connect with my employees and also make sure that they stay on
