Firearms is one of the most sensitive and controversial topic, from assassinations to mass shootings across the country firearms is a topic everybody talks about. Guns play a role to everyone’s life, whether it’s owning a gun or simply have a conversation about it. With firearms being a topic that is personal and delicate, it’s no surprise the arguments that come with that topic, but there’s two sides to every argument. Citizens have the right to protect themselves but do citizens have the right to inflict harm to each other? Both sides of the firearms have differently entire perspectives about firearms. Pro-guns believe citizens have the right to protect themselves from threat or intruders. Banning guns will just make every gun owner panic like a chicken without its own head. Gun owners will feel unsafe in the safest place there is, home. Pro-guns do feeling strongly about having thorough background checks in the same way that anti-guns also strongly believe that thorough background checks are needed. Guns are powerful tools that can protect and defend us. Guns do protect us, but guns also cause destruction, harm and death. Guns result in gun violence like mass shootings, drive-by and assassinations. Anti-guns believe that more gun control, less gun violence. On the other hand, pro-guns believe even with gun control, violence will still occur.
