Pro gun control Americans believe guns are very dangerous. They believe that guns are so dangerous that certain locations need to be gun free. In an ideal world that would be a great idea. It would save countless lives. However we don’t live in an ideal world and criminals don’t listen to signs and laws, they are criminals.
Basically, gun free zones were put in place to protect areas that are usually undefended or have a large amount of people in them. The idea was that if you can’t bring guns in, no mass shootings can happen. It’s a good idea but again, there is one flaw. Criminals, do not follow the law. So to a criminal a gun free zone says, I’m a soft target, please come in, there are no guns here to stop you. Evidence to this is all around
