Can you imagine what it would feel like to work for a company that put the needs of the employees first? Working in this type of environment would help employees to feel valued, and appreciated. Because employees feel valued, they will work harder for the person that is creating these positive feelings in the work place. When you work for a company that puts the needs of the employees first, then the company might be being led by people who follow a style of leadership known as servant leadership. Other important aspects of servant leadership include making everyone that works for the company feel like equals within the company, creating a feeling of family connection within the company, working to help subordinate employees move higher up …show more content…
By earning the trust and respect of the employees, and making the environment of the company a more positive one, raising the employees’ ambition levels, getting the employees to be willing to work harder for me, and for them to start to build stronger bonds with the other employees in the company, helping me to start working on some of my interpersonal goals. To continue making employees feel valued in the company, I will encourage employees to share their thoughts and ideas about anything that they feel could be beneficial for the company, and try to implement them when possible. If their ideas are not possible, then I will be honest with them about why they are not possible, and try to come up with a compromise where the idea will work in the company, and make the employee who suggested the idea happy with the results. Doing this will continue to build the employees respect for me, and help them to feel free and comfortable to share their ideas with me. Another interpersonal goal will be accomplished by me showing the employees that I trust them, and I will allow them to do their jobs independently without constantly being watched. This will help the employees to feel a sense of accomplishment, enable them to take some responsibility for their work, help them to be more …show more content…
This feeling that the company is a family will be the main factor when it comes to reaching my organizational goals. By developing this positive environment, and helping everyone become a family will encourage employees to be helpful to others on the job, and help everyone feel a sense of loyalty to the company.
