In my second year, I have to go and clear some prerequisites. So, I decided to take Penn Foster. My Penn Foster course has been a challenge to get through but, I do believe that I can make it happen. I get up at 4o`clock in the morning and make breakfast for the whole family. I usually go and wake up my husband from his sleep. He likes to take long naps. After that, I go and wake up my children from their sleep, and get my little ones ready. We all go downstairs, and have a nice family meal. Then, I go and drop off my children to their bus stop. Some parts of my schedule are flexible, such as class times and work days. Fitting homework and studying in when I’m not at work and building a routine that you can stick to, but are able to adjust if other important things come up. As a working student, I have to be ready to adapt to new assignments, unexpected errands, and sudden work crises that need to be addressed immediately, so i make sure there is enough study time in my work schedule so that if something comes up, I can shift it into another slot during the week. I always communicate my schedule to my employers, friends, clients and family and make sure the people around me know where i'll be and when. I Sign up for an online calendar and send the URL to the people who depend on knowing where I am and when. Not everyone I work with will understand the demands of being a student and, similarly, and the additional responsibilities of working while in school. Stress is an inevitable part of being a student, mom and a worker-- combining all together and you can expect to be stressed out. As much as you may try to prevent stress, you're going to have to learn how to relieve. I take as much needed breaks. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle helps relieve stress and i find that the more I get out and exercise, the easier work and school seems. Exercising is commonly known to reduce

Truth be told, I was only vaguely aware of the Noble Foundation before Jim Johnson, a Noble consultant, was seated next to me at an Oklahoma Crop Improvement Association banquet. Being an agribusiness major from Oklahoma State University with only an agricultural regulations background, my overall exposure to the agricultural world has been through legislation, inspection, and guidelines. Needless to say, when I found out I was chosen as an intern I was excited.…

When I began Energy Express, I thought my role would be improving children's reading skills and helping them cultivate a passion for reading. However, throughout my summer of service I learned that the role of an Energy Express mentor is much greater. To mentor a child is to shape their personality and future, it is to help them grow to love learning and also to love themselves, it is to offer them hope and love since many children in this area struggle within untraditional family structures, and it is to teach them their potential is endless. Therefore, my three goals would be: cultivate a love for readnig through hands-on activities, provide a support, fun, and active enviroment that welcomes and comforts all children, and to build lasting, stable friendships among the children I mentor.…
