Personal Narrative: My Luck With A Car

Decent Essays
I should be used to the fact that my luck with cars has been passed down to me from my dad. We have had horrible luck with vehicles! I am kind of wondering when this run of bad vehicles will end for me? My recent vehicle has been in and out of the shop since I bought it a year and a half ago, so have not owned it for too long and it already gives me a headache when I think about it. I got the car all on my own and I was so proud of myself because I didn't need a cosigner on the loan and nobody helped me find it; four months later the timing belt breaks and busts a lot of stuff in the engine. It was an expensive fix to say the least.

Now, something else has gone wrong with the car and it will cost me a whole lot of money. I have asked around

Sometimes, terminology can confuse people, so let's clear up exactly what used car extended warranty actually is right form the get go. Obviously, a used car is one that has been owned by some one else before you purchased it. I quite often say to my wife when I see the latest model car being driven around town that I hope the owner looks after it because that could be our brand new second hand car in ten years time. Extended warranty simply means exactly what it sounds like - therefore, an extension of your warranty.…

On a beautiful clear morning of February the 19th, my mom picked me up from my class at the University of West Georgia, then we went to Waffle House to have a nice breakfast. We left from Waffle House, proceeding down Maple Street, and turned onto South Street and immediately onto Kenner Street. We then turned onto on the merging lane on South Park Street (US Hwy 27) heading south, we immediately halted to a full stop as vehicles moved from the middle lane into the merging lane in front of us, but at that time there were no vehicles behind us. As we waited to enter traffic, a car suddenly struck us from behind which caused the car to jerk violently forward, causing my mother’s chest to hit the steering wheel, and our heads and bodies to whip forward and then back.…

I'm going to tell you about the time I totaled my first truck. It was not a fun experience all the questions and talking to the cops it was not fun. Anyways how it happens is pretty simple I was just driving home from work all is well. When I ride it's like the earth stops at every corner so I can check to make sure a, loud, car isn't roaring towards me. It's like that feeling in your chest that tells you that everything is going to be ok, yet your mind is screaming at you that it won't be. I ride because I was thought that you need to be active in life, but it was never about the one hour of activity time we are supposed to have growing up. it was much more than that. I didn't need help to ride, I needed help to face down my enemies, or conquer my dreams.…

This was what took place on the day I bought my first car. It was a green Ford Focus hatchback, and I loved it every bit of it, even its unnatural green shell. That being said, I despised the fact initially of driving a manual. It was my first auto and I worked so hard for it. I checked out a few dealerships, avenues and parking areas for an auto that popped out at me and was in my value range. I was searching for stick shift autos on the grounds that every one of my companions had one and since I need to be a workman I thought it would be an essential aptitude to know. I was taking a gander at 2011 Nissan Maxima which was a truly lovely auto yet it was out of my value extent…

After five hours under Mrs. Gonzalez’s 1997 Plymouth, my hands were so dirty I had to wash them ten times just to see my fingernails again. She was a familiar face around the shop, given that neighborhood thieves had routinely targeted her car. This time, though, they had gone too far. Someone had crawled underneath the car and cut out the valuable catalytic converter, and she couldn’t afford a replacement. When I looked at her and said, “That’ll be $563,” her face turned pale.…

My first car was something that I greatly was looking forward to getting as a child and my interest in getting one grew, as the days got closer to my sixteenth birthday. The first car I owned was a Automatic Black 2004 Ford f-150 truck, which I discovered on a website called Craigslist. It was priced at five thousand nine hundred dollars with only eighty-four thousand miles on it, which in my case was great considering that I could only afford a seven thousand dollar car. The truck came with all manual locks and windows and also had a small amount of hail damage that could really only be seen at a certain angle. But even with reasonable price on the truck I still attempted to negotiate for an even lower price to further my luck.…

My desire for cars begun in my early years in high school, my friends would drive me to and from school, usually we would go to out and grab a bite at restaurants, and occasionally shop at local stores in the Denver metro area, time management was so easy.
