My brother has spent months looking at the goofy basketball shoes he wants on his phone. He saved just enough money to buy these shoes. I was also looking to buy a new pair of vans for going back to school to impress all of my friends. My sisters wanted whatever girls want (which I don’t really pay attention to). It is 7:45 p.m. and finally everyone is ready to go (mainly my sisters because the rest of the family always waits on them).
It is 8:15 p.m. and we reached our destination, the mall! My sisters went with my mom and my brother and I went with my dad to start shopping. We check the time and it is 10:05 p.m. We barely missed it and we are stuck in the dark mall. My dad calms everyone down and we decide to look for a janitor or someone to let us out. We walk slowly around the mall and bump into someone. “Monster,” we all screamed It was just a security guard! We explained to him that we spent to much time eating and that the door was closed. He introduced himself and said his name was George. He asked us if we had checked the other doors, but we hadn’t because we were scared. He led us to another door and it was also locked! Its 10:15 p.m. and all of our feet are tired from looking for a exit, and we still have had no luck finding

I was extremely excited too, because that meant that I don’t have to go to parks all the time just to play basketball for fifteen minutes.…
