This I Believe Essay: Madison Botting

So i stomped upstairs and to do it again. But let me tell you, I should not have done that because that made my dad even more mad than he already was. He was mad because i told him to come upstairs and look at my room. So my punishment was no dance OR football game. I mean, the dance, ok. But no football

I had to finish cleaning my room, in the little time i had left.
Although there was not a lot to clean, it still was a lot to get done in 10 minutes. I finally finished. But, when I checked the time I was 10 minutes over. I went downstairs hooping I could still go to Disney, because I knew at this point I couldn't go to the football game.
I told her i tried my best. She said that we will start strikes for me and Frank(my brother). If we get 10 strikes we can't go to Disney. I got 1 strike for not cleaning my room on time, so did frank(he didn't even start his room). We both got 1 more strike for not cleaning the upstairs living room. Then we got 1 more strike for not listening. After that we got 1 more strike for “ talking back”. That was frank's last one. But i got 1 more strike for fighting with my brother.
Now in 1 weeks i am going to Disney, unless i get 5 more strikes. Thats i think you should keep your word because if she kept her word i wouldnt be in this mess, and i would definitly be going to

In America, McDonald's has become the face of obesity, unhealthy living, and evil; however, to my family, McDonald's has not been a comfort food, but a comforting food. When we were alone and hungry in a foreign land, McDonald's was our faithful friend. When we landed at Shanghai Pudong International Airport, Shanghai, China, we were exhausted from the tedious 14-hour flight; all my family wanted was sustenance and sleep. Arriving to our new, empty apartment, we sadly found neither. All eight of us loaded back into the little, grey Buick minivan so we could go shopping at the Carrefour (a four story French version of Walmart) just two miles away.…
