Personal Narrative Essay On Candy

Improved Essays
It all started when I was 4 years old, it was 2008. I was a small boy who liked to do a lot of things by myself. I was sitting in the living room, on the couch, watching “SpongeBob SquarePants,” it was after I ate lunch. So I asked my Mom if I could have some candy, because it was around the time of Halloween and we had some candy. When I asked for the candy my Mom said, “yes,” so when she said that I got really excited, because I love candy.
So I exuberantly went into my kitchen, and then to the candy jar, still excited. The jar was on top of the gray counter. I was really happy to be getting candy. So I reached up my hands to the clear, glass jar to get the candy. At this moment I was confident that I could do it by myself without any help.

After studying, the American Mythologist, Writer, and Lecturer, discovered that heroes in almost every story follow this same path called the Heroic Journey. He figured this out by seeing that all the heroes go through stages. For example, they refuse, they have tests/allies/enemies, and they are rewarded at the end of their journey. Everybody is a hero in their own story if you think about it.…

I went to the school store, to avoid sitting at an empty table during lunch, and with my small amount of money I buy two things, pringles and a small packet of cheez-its. Looking at the shiny-red foil package I start reading and it says “9g of whole grain”. Generally speaking, this means that something about it will be different. Nevertheless, I ripped open the package and noticed a sound that is highly quiet but like a faint zipper as if I unzipped a jacket. The wrapping was smooth but had slightly-sharp edges on either side of the packaging.…
