I was told to come to the farm down the road so I could pick out my show pig. I went up to the house after I finished cleaning pens and got my keys and took of towards the farm. It was going to take about ten minutes to get to the farm so on the way I thought about what kind of hog I wanted to show and whether or not I wanted a gilt or barrow.
When I arrived at the farm I saw a lot of trucks parked outside. I proceeded to go inside the barn to see the pigs, and when I looked in the first pen I saw the most outstanding pig I had ever seen. The judge then came and shook my hand, having being in the show ring all my life I knew what this meant, it meant that I had won my class. I had the biggest smile on my face due to the fact that I never had won a class in Perry and finally with a lot of hard work I
