Pathos and Ethos arguments on men and women body lotion Pathos involves rousing up people’s emotions and advertisements engender an emotional response of viewers. Advertisers are conscious of the fact that familiar things and pass experiences would generate positive or negative emotions of its viewers. In addition to familiar things, Advertisers, use colorful background and persuasive words to attract its audience. The advert for women’s lotion shows familiar and colorful things, like green, pink and purple background. Naturally, women go for these colors. Secondly, the rose flowers have two colors; white and pinky. The colors, the fragrance of the rose flower and mint will generate positive emotions of the audience. The female advert show similar product, with variety of headings, and pleasant ingredients and colorful background. Advertisers used their ingenuity to label the product with different prices, to satisfy people of all classes. The caption of each product, like “Shower your skin with love, cool spearing mint and thyme and Dark night of perfection” shows the credibility of the producer. Who would not want to love his/her body, or want perfection especially at night when ones is tired, and will desire a restful night? The man looks handsome, energetic and young to depict the purpose of the advert. To capture the attention of the onlooker, they print the important wordings on capital and bold letters. Naturally, people love organic things; therefore the advertiser brings out their credibility by labeling in bold writing, naming the product and also the man’s appearance. On the container, there is a young man inside two leaves which matches with the labeling, “Advance Age-Defying Moisturizer” and represents the purpose of the advert;
