LeBron says in the last line of the commercial, “You’re not supposed to be here, yet here you are”. The clip shows him walking on to the court to play for the NBA team the Cleveland Cavaliers. Knowing LeBron’s childhood that he moved nearly a dozen times in a year missing about 100 days of school of the 4th grade, having slim to no money and growing up off welfare, not knowing who his real dad was, and growing up in Akron, Ohio. He is the true face of coming from nothing but putting his heart to it and making his dream come true. In the commercial every line he says is what I feel is a hater quote, “You’re not supposed to be here”, “You’re not supposed to get out of your neighborhood”, “not supposed to believe you can do it”, and more but these lines in particular show that you can either listen to the haters or you use them as encouragement to do better and prove them …show more content…
It is a promise of gain, if you push hard enough and don’t give up you can accomplish whatever you want and no one can tell you, that you can’t,. They can then use the haters to do more. This commercial is also super inspiring with the repeated line, “you’re not supposed to be here”, because it shows that you are supposed to be here and to try for what you want and train as hard as you can and it will happen. Iin other words if you try hard enough you will succeed. Also promise of enjoyment, when watching this video, it makes you feel good inside and makes you want to do better even if it has nothing to do with sports or athletics, literally anything. It makes you think of your past and where you want to be in the future and clears your mind to get a fresh start. Keep pushing for your future
