The summative assignment I reviewed was incredible! I can’t believe a student was able to do that. I guess with a lot of dedication and effective use of class time can do that. For the next two and a half months I will have to use extremely good use of my class time. For this class time to be used effectively, I will have to do multiple things. This includes no distractions. I would need to focus on the work at hand, and not the people around me. I need to focus on myself so that I can strive to do well. I shouldn’t worry about the people around me. I also need to make sure my full attention is on this project. With being an art student my mind tends to drift off. I will look at different pieces and then find a creative aspect. I tend to look …show more content…
I really want to push myself this year(to a certain degree). I want to push myself in the sense of doing well on projects, not stressing myself out. On my science summative last year I did very well in most components. This year, since I am now older, I really want to strive to do better than last year. Science is probably my hardest subject out of them all. With that being the case, this is why I would want to get over 100 percent on my summative. If I can prove to myself that even in my hardest subject I am capable of doing well, it will boost my confidence levels greatly. A goal I would want to achieve during this summative would probably be to put forward a large amount of effort. Last year part of our summative was just putting answers from a book down on our sheets. I required little effort to complete. If I can put forward a level of effort that I have never seen before, I will feel great about it and probably impress myself at the same time. A timeline for this assignment would probably be to plan when certain aspects of the project is done. This could vary from it being all write ups done by a certain day and diagrams all found by a certain date(which would include research). Then all ideas would be organized so I(and my group) could put them

This week’s reflection assignment is to write about an event that occurred applying the “functional assessment model” (Cory, P. 262), Activating Event, Belief, and Emotional and Behavioral Consequence. I was searching for an activating event to explain and everything prior to the death of my daughter seems to be insignificant, and hard for me to actually remember. Therefore, after some hesitation, I choose to write about the day I was told my daughter had passed away. In addition, I will analyze the situation using the ABC’s of the Behavioral Therapy technique as described in Chapter 9 from the text book called, Theory and Practice of Counseling and Psychotherapy, by Gerald Cory.…
